Veterinary Technician in Training

Growing up, I was surrounded by many animals and developed a deep connection with them from an early age. The experience of caring for these animals as they entered their geriatric years ignited a passion within me for the well-being of all creatures. This early bond became the foundation for my journey into the field of veterinary medicine.

With a commitment to pursuing my passion, I enrolled in the CSN Veterinary Nursing program, where I honed my skills and knowledge in providing comprehensive care for animals. As a Veterinary Technician in Training, my responsibilities span a wide spectrum, from taking vitals to performing diagnostics such as bloodwork and radiographs. I actively contribute to dental cleanings, assist in surgeries, place IV catheters, and administer medication—a multifaceted role that allows me to make a tangible difference in the lives of our patients.

In 2021, I achieved Fear Free Certification, a testament to my commitment to providing care without inducing fear or anxiety in animals. This certification has enhanced my ability to assess and manage stress levels, particularly in shelter and clinic environments.

Beyond the clinic, my love for nature finds expression in my passion for hiking, often accompanied by my two beloved dogs. This connection with the outdoors serves as a refreshing counterbalance to the demands of my profession.
